• Prerequisite: Students must have a valid VA learner’s permit on the first day of class (necessary for range driving and behind-the-wheel phases of instruction) 

Description

• Identify and interpret traffic safety regulations
• Demonstrate decision-making skills to operate a motor vehicle, and explain the effects of alcohol and other drugs on driving tasks
• Demonstrate knowledge of car systems and maintenance 
• Maintain and submit the 45-hour driving log
• Note: behind-the-wheel phase of instruction occurs after course completion; fees apply.
