Description

• Introduce the student to the profession of Home Health Aide
• The student will explore the practices and principles in the health and medical field, while developing basic skills common to several health and medical careers
• The student will gain an understanding of basic skills and knowledge needed to enter an advanced health and medical sciences program or private home or health care setting
• The student will be taught in a clinical long term setting under the instruction of a nurse
• The student will develop leadership, interpersonal and career skills and explore interests related to high quality work based learning opportunities

Students qualified as CTE finishers will take an Industry Credentialing assessment related to the course
